I went to the doctor hoping to be prescribed either Soma or Oxycodone for a pain in my side. The doctor said I was developing a hernia, and instead, I was prescribed Methocarbamol, otherwise known as Robaxin.

Well, at least soma actually works as a muscle relaxant... Robaxin did practically nothing to me, even with the large dose that I took (about 5x500mg pills)!! I felt no better, and I surely felt no possitive(recreational) effects from taking it.

So, I'd say the recreational value is zero, and if one is actually in pain, this medicine won't do a damn thing.
