Opium Resin Was Terrific

I had obtained a small amount of opium, about 4 grams. It looked like old hash- very dark and a tad slippery.

I smoked it in a glass pipe on a screen. I put the whole 4 grams in. What I immediately noticed was the sweet taste. Very unique. I made an assumption that one should hold it in. I got an immediate buzz of warmth and lightheadedness. I did notice that my stomach clinched, but it was empty. I was giggling watching the nub of opium in the pipe swell up and bubble. I think I took about a total of 5 hits before I realized that I didn't need anymore. My skin felt like I was covered with warm fuzzy fur. I got extremely dreamy and laid down. At this point I'm not truly sure I was awake. But I was aware of where I was; just didn't care. I am thinking back that this lasted for several hours. I probably did sleep some in there. My dreams were off the scale- vivid, color, and strange.

I did smoke opium several more times for a year or so. This was my first ever high. THEN I went to pot, acid and all that. Opium as a gateway drug !?
