DOSE:
450 mg oral Moclobemide (daily)
BODY WEIGHT: 75 kg
Safest MAOI-A

Unlike SSRI's/SNRI's, Tricyclics, and other antidepressants I'd tried, Moclobemide gives me a feeling of well-being, feeling good about 2 hours after taking it. My Psychiatrist instructs me to take 300mg after breakfast and 150mg after dinner.

I notice, that it is a hard tablet, so I crushed it, mixing it with a bit of water, in that way, I minimise the tablet from not getting absorbed at its optimum level, also, being a Reversible Inhibitor of Mono Amine-A, it has a half life of 2 hours, but it takes 24 hours for the Mono Amine in our bodies to recover completely, thus minimising from any Hypertensive reaction with foods containing Tyramine.

Initially, for the first week, I experienced restlesness, but it subsided by itself after a couple of weeks later. I notice it lacks of any anti cholinergic effect, it doesn't interupt with my sleeping pattern and it does not give sexual dysfunction side effects.
