1 - 2 g smoked Cannabis
BODY WEIGHT: 8 st
I think it’s been a relatively short time since I’ve been smoking marijuana, but I know in the short time I have, I’ve learnt and experienced a hell of a lot of things. One thing that I’ve experienced is the complete shift of reality, and the amazing, enlightening realization that reality is so much more intangible then I could’ve ever imagined, my whole perception of reality being completely shattered and turned on its head. Weed changed me, but I believe this experience was a positive impact on my life.
Weed changed me, but I believe this experience was a positive impact on my life.

I don’t think I could even begin to describe the best experience I’ve had on weed, maybe even the best experience I’ve had in my life. This experience is one I’d never forget, and is truly a priceless memory.

Me and some friends accumulated a kind of weed smoking group. We would all meet up around once or twice a week, and get high together on a hill. Usually it was great, we’d all laugh, and I’d get the giggles like mad. This time however we had something new with us, a bright, florescent orange, handheld bong.

Rather than being on a hill, we were at one of my friend’s houses. She had a large tent like thing in her garden, which is where we decided to blaze on our new bong. We all shared a round, except for one of us, “E” who preferred spliffs. After the round was out, which was relatively soon, we each decided to go to the kitchen. I wasn’t feeling very high, and was generally disappointed. The weed we had was something called AK, supposedly strong.

When I got into the kitchen, and literally as I stepped through the door, the weed hit me. Whilst mild, it still hit me, and I began to feel strange and relaxed. “E” didn’t feel anything at all, so started prepping another spliff in the kitchen. Another one of my friends “J” suddenly went insanely high. She took a cooking timer, and started dancing to the rhythm of it ringing. “J” seemed to get increasingly fucked off her head as she danced to this crazed ringing sound, which eventually started to make me feel a little higher, as I found myself laughing at something so completely retarded.

I felt I needed more weed to fully appreciate J’s comedy performance, so I prepped up the bong. No one else felt like having more, so I had a whole round to myself. At the time it never crossed my mind, but I was just about to smoke more weed than I’d ever smoked before, I was about to get more high than I’ve ever been before, and to this day have never been.

After the first pull of this round, I started feeling insanely fucked, by the end; I had smoked myself into an ethereal state of mind. I’ve always found my appreciation of music goes through the skies when I’m high, but never before has anything like what happened to me even crossed my mind as possible on marijuana. Many people see weed as a mild alternative to other drugs, but I’ll tell you now, marijuana is no mild drug when taken in extremely high dosage.

I sat back in the chair, listening to a song called Heroine by Sayonara. I felt like the whole chair was a cushion, some kind of liquid cushion that wrapped around me, and was as malleable as melted plastic. As the song started I experienced, whilst not vivid, closed eye hallucinations. What I saw had a direct effect on the way my body felt. This was the most extreme body high I’d ever felt in my life, this whole experience I’m about to describe was nothing short of 15-20 minutes of pure euphoria.

When I closed my eyes, I first saw colours, similar to what I’d see when I'm sober, though they moved in a different way, more rhythmically. The colours were more intense and lucid.

As the song started to get more intense, as did my hallucinations. I began to see the colours form into images, like a field, a sunset, etc... As I put my head back, that’s when the strange stuff really started to happen.
I began to see the colours form into images, like a field, a sunset, etc... As I put my head back, that’s when the strange stuff really started to happen.
My hallucinations became more and more vivid, although they weren’t vivid enough to be comparable to an LSD trip for example; they were still pretty vivid for Cannabis though. I started to see as if I were looking through a kaleidoscope, diamonds and shapes forming what looked like the inside of a kaleidoscope. I slowly felt like I was fading away from my body, I then felt for a few seconds that I was completely exempt from my body, and in those seconds I lost all concept of being alive and being human in a bodily form. I felt like a spirit, like I had left my body and became consciousness of the purest and most divine form. This feeling of being exempt from my body was accompanied by a surge of intense pleasure all over my body, pleasure so intense, and euphoric, it made my whole body move in tremors as it flowed everywhere.

This pleasure wasn’t at all sexual, but it was something greater, something beyond the mere animalistic sexuality we all know. It didn’t involve anyone, it was just me and my mind, my penis wasn’t erect, so I wasn’t sexually stimulated, I have no idea what this was, but it was by far the best experience of my life, and one, no matter how much weed I smoked, I wasn’t able to achieve again. I coined this as “Having sex with my mind.”

As I opened my eyes, J turned round to me and said “did you just have a massive orgasm”, to which I replied “No, I just had sex with my mind”. She didn’t really understand what I meant and to this day no other stoner has either. The rest of the day was pretty bland in comparison to the experience.
