I was completely unawares of the euphoric effects of codeine until a night not too long ago. I had been subject to a rather stabbing - like stomach pain for around an hour, when my boyfriend finally offered me a codeine. I'm not often one to take painkillers, on account of my inability to swallow them with easy, but I made an exception this time and accepted the pill.
After around twenty minutes, the pains had subsided and I was beginning to feel a 'buzz'. This 'buzz' was not like that of recreational drugs such as ecstasy, but more so an intense feeling of happiness and a slight numbness. Mind you, this was only after ONE codeine pill.

I found myself beginning to get quite lovey - dovey towards my boyfriend, much like one does on dexamphetamine. I'm not going to go into detail of what events proceeded. Let's just say he and I had a fun night.

After around an hour the feeling had left and I went to bed.
