I decided I wanted to try something new. With no previous use of psychedelics, I chose Salvia. After aqcuiring a gram of 10x, a friend (I will refer to him as x) and I decided to smoke it out of a homemade water bong.

We sat outside at the edge of some woods at a bench in the park. We packed the bowl with about one third of the salvia I had attained. Almost immediately after the first hit, I could feel my heart beating in my chest pretty hard. That may just have been from the excitement. But about 10 seconds after my second hit, I could feel the effects coming on.

The first thing I noticed was how heavy I felt. It was strange, however my friend x felt it too. Through the whole experience, I felt completely aware and in control of my surroundings. I was still completely there in my mind. Other than the heaviness, I felt just general well-being, and colors seemed to be very bright. There was some trailing, but I did not experience and visual hallucinations. Very faint patterns could be seen when I closed my eyes.

The experience only lasted about ten minutes, and the both of us laughed through at least half of it for no reason at all. After about twenty minutes, I felt completely normal. X said that he felt very dissasociated with his body up to an hour after we smoked. Overall, it was a euphoric and pleasant experience that basically made the two of us laugh uncontrollably for a few minutes. We would both be willing to do it again and probably will soon!
