Lion's Tail Extract Overdose

I recently purchase 2g of 30:1 Leonotis leonuris extract. I dissolved ~1g in a cup of hot water and drank about half.

There were no noticeable effects within ~1.5hrs so I went to sleep. I awoke it a state of extreme panic about 3 hours later feeling breathless, dizzy and with tingling fingers and toes. As I was on my own, I erred on the side of caution and visited the hospital. Initially I had a higher than normal heart rate, but that soon returned to normal.

I returned home and attempted to go back to sleep. Every time I drifted off to sleep, I began to get feelings of panic as though I couldn't breathe. Although there isn't much information about safe doses of Lion's Tail, I found a few references to the fact that higher doses may cause respiratory paralysis. Eventually I managed to get to sleep but woke up feeling quite weak and a bit groggy. i have no history of hypertension or other respiratory/cardiac issues. I think perhaps I might have overdone it on the first try and I'm not keen on trying it again.
