On an empty stomach, I swallowed 10 grams of Thai Kratom powder. Milk helped to mask the bitter taste, orange juice can be used to flush down remnants of the powder, which is relatively unsoluble and tends to stick in the mouth.

First effects are noticeable after 15 min with a slow oncoming wave of ease and pleasure. Body feels warm and safe. Friendliness/Talkativeness sets in.

After 1h really feeling good, no anxiety even when thinking about unpleasant things.

After 2h getting hazy, developing into tiredness.

After 2h 30min feeling sleepy followed by a long sleep.

Next morning: No hangover & positive 'afterglow'.

Conclusion: Mild, recreational opiate. I especially like the fact it does not completely shut me out from social life, but keeps me very laid back, like wrapped in cotton.
