I was put on Trazodone by my OB to help me sleep after starting menapause.The 50 mg. dose works very well. He also gave me Maxide to help with bloating, I take 1 pill of each a day.

I started on Cymbalta a year later due to some issues I was having at work. I'm now being weaned off Cymbalta since I have retired and no longer feel the necessity to continue treatment. I have not experienced any of the side effects others have had. In addition I drink alcohol daily without any health problems.

All I can say I experience are the wild and weird dreams. That's OK because at least I know I'm sleeping. I can also fall back to sleep easily if I am woken up.
