Amazing Hallucinations

I have quite a history with pharmaceuticals. I was only really addicted to one, which was Adderall. But ever since I sometimes like to enjoy different substances just to see what the effects are. My favorite being opiates every now and then. Ambien, it was fairly easy to get. I have a terrible habit of staying up until the sun comes up, and only sleeping for a few hours so I wasn't really expecting anything but a good night sleep for once when I got this. Before this experience I've tried a few other psychoactive drugs like:

Shrooms (1/8th oz)- I thought they sucked, and only made me angry.
Mescaline (2 cacti)- I ordered cacti online. Most intense trip ever but the side effects, throwing up, and flash backs were definitely not worth it. Pretty sure I OD'ed.

Getting it:
Okay.. Ambien. I got prescribed simply by showing up looking tired as hell, that I didn't sleep well, and 'my last doctor gave me a sample that worked great!' which was a lie. Plus I'm very nice.

THE TRIP.
I picked up the prescription (30x10mg) eager to try it. I went back to my apartment with my ex-gf and we both downed 2 each and I began playing Age of Empires, yes it is year 2010 but I'm old school.

It was about 9pm when I took them and I'd say 30 min. later I began feeling kind of a stoned feeling. It was really nice! I must have played Age of empires for 2 hours, thats usually how long games are. I was so involved in this game I completely forgot I had taken ambien. The game ended.. and I stared at the screen for an unknown amount of time. I couldn't figure it out. All of the sudden it became three dimensional (the game), I reached out and touched the scenery in the game (my screen). I thought no.. this can't be real, come on. There was a button in the center of the screen saying 'You have won.' and the word 'Continue' in large letters or something to that extent. But... the button looked real, it was coming out of the screen. Not in a typical tripping way, where you know I'm tripping but I'm just enjoying it.

I took my finger and placed it at the top of the screen and ran my finger down the screen to try and feel the button, knowing it couldn't possibly be real. As the tip of my finger hit the top border of the button, I felt it. I could feel the text, the shape, everything about it, it was coming out of my screen. This button was real. I began thinking that the design of LCD monitors was a lie, the manufacturers lied to me I thought. I looked at the sides of the screen, the entire fucking game looked like a portal to another world. The ocean was real, I could feel the grass swaying on the ground, I felt a connection to the world I was viewing. I wanted to climb into it and lay in the grass. It was THE most amazing trip I have ever had in my life. It wasn't blurry at all, it was crystal clear.

I still can't believe how realistic and beautiful it was, how great and relaxed I was. And overall how easy it was. I had totally forgot about my ex girlfriend, haha. She was laying on the couch staring at the wall. I asked her what's going on? She looked at me and pointed at my Jimi Hendrix poster and said 'He's reaching out for me, and for some reason the ceiling has layers!' Haha! I slept like a baby and woke up rejuvenated. I still treasure what an amazing trip this was. Keep in mind this is an old game and the graphics aren't near today's standard. The tripping effect wears off with tolerance, so I don't take it every night, I take it once every 2 weeks. I use diphenhydramine (Dramamine) as a sleep aid and save this treasure for all of it's glory. I didn't find it addicting, but I have heard some stories of addicts. I will probably try railing a half of one sometime for fun and see if the quick come up affects the trip/effects. Thanks for reading, be safe guys!
