My first time trying Amanita muscaria I boiled 3.5 of dried shroom (all parts) for 15 minutes, then ingesting it. The taste isn't bad at first, but it gets more revolting the more I force it down. It's less like tea and more like spoiled soup. So, I added it to a small bowl of beef flavored Ramen with a little salt. Much easier going down. Drank some water after to wash out the better, but still not so great, taste. Keeping relaxed and buoyant towards positive or neutral thoughts I waited for time to pass. End result: nothing happened.

Maybe I boiled it for too long and the effects were ruined, or maybe I didn't take enough.

So, I gave it another shot with 5g this time. All from the same bag by the way. Also, I didn't boil them for as long this time. I did three minutes (instead of fifteen), but again several hours pass with no changes to my perception or senses.

I want to give it another shot, I was really looking forward to a more interesting sort of meditation, but I don't want to waste my money anymore without effects.

By the way: no nausea on either tries.
