I put 25 grams into a white wine and let it sit about a week. My wife and I split the bottle. The wine was filtered in a coffee filter before we drank it. The taste was terribly bitter. We ended up putting honey on our tongues and swallowed the wine as quickly as we could. Later, we both agreed it was worth it, because of the effects of the Blue Lotus.

About twenty minutes later I felt the buzz come on. It was very, very relaxing. I had a beer in my hand, and realized later I had hardly touched it. I was content, and needed nothing. Then, my wife and I got into a really deep conversation and ended up in bed. The sex was great.

The effects lasted about an hour and a half. We both agreed the bad taste was worth it, but we wanted to try a tea or something else to try and make it a little more tolerable.
