I have been on alrpazolam (Xanax) for several months now, and the doses of 1 mg three times a day has shown less and less of an effect as I have slowly developed a tolerance. Tonight I decided to up my dose to 5 mg and chase it with a beer. Never in my life have I felt more at peace and relaxed. I have been under severe amounts of stress lately stemming from my workplace and personal life, and my therapist and family physician both agreed that alprazolam would be a good way to lessen the negative stress on my life. On top of that, I have been hearing voices lately which my therapist seems to think is only caused by the excessive stress. Well, tonight I am feeling not stress whatsoever and the only voices I am hearing are the poetic lyrics of Bob Dylan as I play his music. This dose of alprazolam is really doing wonders, and I plan on asking my doctor and therapist about increasing the doses in the future. I have spent most of my evening sitting peacefully on the couch without a care in the world. As someone who has used other substances such as cannabis, codeine, and clonazopam, I can safely say that this has been the most effective substance to date at relieving my stress and anxiety.
