This is a report of my second experience with 5-MeO-DMT (first was with 7mg insufflated).
Two of my friends and I decided, at four in the morning and after many beers and three 24 count boxes of nitrous oxide chargers, to go ahead and take the plunge into the strange world that is 5-MeO-DMT. (Good or bad decision? Well, I haven’t quite figured that out yet). I had gotten my hands on 100mg of the substance a few weeks prior, and had tried a small dose of it some seven to ten days before. This experience was interesting, but didn’t really live up to all the hype I had read about the substance, so, naturally, I decided to up the dose this time.
I weighed out an 8mg dose for my two friends, and a 12mg dose for myself. Immediately after insufflating it off the scale, we headed outside to have a seat on my driveway. I sat away from them because I wanted to experience the come-up without someone talking in my ear.
Approximately two and a half minutes after I dosed, I began to feel the initial effects. They hit me pretty hard pretty fast. Most people don’t consider 5-MeO-DMT to be a particularly visual drug, but at this point the grass, trees and other objects around me took on a 3D, cartoonish look. The grass looked like a swirling sea of dark green. At this point I was enjoying myself, or at least I could think enough to realize that I was enjoying myself. What happened next was absolutely incredible.
I was laying flat on my stomach staring out over my front yard when everything in my visual field suddenly disintegrated into total blackness. I was just a bundle of strange, negative energy floating around in this world, and since there was nothing to focus on around me, I was forced to focus on myself and my own though process. At this point, things went to a whole new level.
I could still see nothing at all, and even the thoughts I was having disappeared. I don’t know how I felt because I was nothing. I’m pretty sure that if someone was to try to tell me that there was a concrete driveway underneath me, I would’ve stared at them like I had never heard of such a thing, I didn’t know what underneath meant, I didn’t know what concrete was, and I most certainly did not know what “me” was. I wish I could’ve explored this realm more than I got to, but my brain just wasn’t able to grasp any concepts except nothingness.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I started to (slowly) come back into my body. My vision came back, and the visuals I was experiencing at the beginning started up again. At this point I stood up and felt as if some “entity” had taken its giant hand and placed its palm right in the middle of my forehead. It squeezed my head tightly and told me I needed to flush all of the toxins out of my body (alcohol, cocaine, etc...). I began vomiting violently and having these incredible muscle spasms.
I began vomiting violently and having these incredible muscle spasms.
My body was totally at the mercy of this “entity.” After a few minutes of this I was totally back to baseline.
I’ve spent some time reflecting on this experience, and I realized that the “entity,” whatever it was, was trying to help me cleanse my body of the things I had put into that harmed me. The best way I could describe it to someone was that my body was a host for these things, which seemed almost like demons, and that the “entity” performed an exorcism on me and helped me get rid of these things.
I’m amazed at the sheer power of this chemical, and cannot wait to take another stab at it. I feel like it’s shown me some things I really needed to know about myself.
