I had received the packet of Kratom about 2 months earlier as a free sample from when I bought some san pedro seeds. I wasn’t thrilled that it was only one dose (not a huge fan of doing drugs alone) but it was low key enough that I wasn’t particularly bothered. It was a weekday but I had no homework and wanted to get rid of the stuff so decided to use it.

T+0.00: Mixed the powder in some yogurt with honey. It is one of the worst things I have ever tasted. Managed to get it down by mixing it with pure honey and then chugging water.

I was excited for the opiate feel I had read about and experienced with Hydrocodone when I got my wisdom teeth removed. I waited about an hour and nothing was happening. I started to get a stomach ache and in general felt crappy. After about another hour I felt relatively calm for about 30 minutes but wasn’t sure if it was placebo or not. After this subsided my stomach continued to feel bad for another 3 hours.

Overall not an experience I would go out of my way to repeat. If someone offers me some, sure I’ll bite but I’m not going to purchase a substance that doesn’t give me a noticeable high and does give me stomach pain.
