T-0:00: I decided to try Xanax cause I was bored one day, thorough researched it before taking it (as I do with any drug) and then chewed them up.

T+0:25: Can definitely feel the effects coming on, feeling very laid back and can't really be bothered to get up. Just sitting on the couch zoning out and having a ball.

T+0:30: The sedative effects feel rather strong, I decide to force myself to get up and move around, feeling very uncoordinated, similar to being very stoned or drunk though my thinking is as clear as usual, probably a little slower then usual, much like when you're tired though, so it may not of been an intrinsic effect.

T+0:45: Absolutely lovely, honestly. The feeling of moving an muscles is coupled with warmth, though not at an uncomfortable level. I can't keep track of how long has passed, my internal clock seems to have switched off.

T+1:00: The full effect of the pills seems to have kicked in. Had I not been writing down the times I would have no idea how long it had been, before checking the clock it felt like I'd been peaking on it for at least a couple of hours, when it reality it was just over 30 minutes.

T+4:00: The last few hours have been blissful, terrible short term memory loss but having nothing important to do I wasn't phased by this is the least, I've started coming down pretty rapidly.

T-4:30: Definitely back to baseline, though some after effects like (very slightly) below average coordination and feeling quite sleepy (though at the time of night and considering how much sleep I had recently, it's likely this had almost nothing to do with the Xanax).

The day after I couldn't believe how wonderful it had been, and proceeded to binge on 2-4mg a day for around a week. HORRENDOUS SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS. I lost track of the what, when, why constantly, though having nothing important to do I didn't find this to be a problem.

Short term memory loss continued for almost a week after the binge, though 7 days after my week long binge there are absolutely no noticeable after affects.

Summary: I can definitely see some considerable addiction potential. I can see adverse memory loss being a serious problem if I were to use Xanax habitually though I can't see any serious adverse side affects happening from occasional use.

Going to go have a few now. ;)
