DOSE:
  oral Alcohol - Hard
    oral 2C-C (powder / crystals)
BODY WEIGHT: 150 lb
[Erowid Note: Two samples of powder (even of the same chemical) with equivalent volumes won't necessarily weigh the same. For this reason, eyeballing is an inaccurate and potentially dangerous method of measuring, particularly for substances that are active in very small amounts. See this article on The Importance of Measured Doses.]
A little background: I'm 21 and I'm pretty experienced with psychedelic drugs. I’ve done mushrooms, lsd, 4-aco-dmt and 2ce. At the time of tripping I had just gotten over a pretty serious 2 day illness, hadn't eaten much, and was taking amoxicillin. My friends are also experienced with lsd and mushrooms, except for one of them.

At the time of taking the 2C-C, I had already consumed a couple glasses of very strong alcohol. I was with my friends, James and Lee. I had a 500mg jar of 2C-C, and foolishly attempted to eyeball out three dosages of 2C-C.
I had a 500mg jar of 2C-C, and foolishly attempted to eyeball out three dosages of 2C-C.
From what I had read, 2C-C was apparently somewhat mild, so I wasn't too worried about giving us too much. However, the dose that I thought was 50mg was probably much more likely in the range of 100-175. It was a white, somewhat sticky powder that had the consistency of flower.

We wrapped the powder in a rolling paper and parachuted it at around 9pm. Downstairs, a party was going on, not a huge one, but they were all drunk. It couldn’t have been more than 25 minutes when my friend James told me that he was starting to really trip. He kept saying that he had never felt drug like this before and he was starting to trip very hard. Lee also told me he was starting to trip, but seemed to be keeping it together more.

I also was feeling it but didn't really have visuals yet, and thought it was a bit weird that it was hitting James so fast. I went down stairs when my housemate Ryan, who had never done anything like this before quite randomly asked if I had any crazy drugs? I pretty blankly told him, yes, yes I do and led him upstairs. By this time, James and Lee were both obviously tripping.

I gave Ryan a dosage somewhat smaller than ours, maybe 75mg I would have to guess. He takes the drug how we do. So the four of us were sitting in my room with a miniparty of drunken people downstairs. James kept exclaiming how fucked up he was, and Lee was more to himself. Robbie noted that Lee was quite with a smile on his face, while James couldn't stop talking.

Then out of nowhere, the visuals hit me. I started laughing uncontrollably. Robbie was keeping track on his watch and said he took it 25 minutes ago and could feel it in his body. This was maybe 45 minutes after I had taken it.

Everything just started waving and spinning and swirling. It was more intense than anything I've had happen in all my tripping. It was just so intense. I started to get tracers, if I waved my hand in front of my face it would remain for at least 5 seconds. It looked like a picture flip book, the action moved frame by frame, or page by page.

I could not believe how hard it was hitting. At some point I started getting VERY easily confused. For example, I started to worry we might get nauseous. The substance itself felt remarkably clean, even at this dose, besides a little tense in my muscles. The nausea felt more like motion sickness. So I went downstairs to get a trash can where some other people were listening to music, but they were drunk. A few tried to talk to me but all I could mutter was 'Not now, tomorrow or Monday'.

I found a trash can, but it was full of garbage so I went to it and though about taking it to the dumpster behind the house. Then I forgot where the dumpster was. I just kind of froze, trying to remember where the dumpster was. Every one saw I looked a bit befuddled and a friend asked if I needed help.

'I can't remember where the dumpster is'. At first she gave me a weird look and then it seemed she started to realize how truly fucked up I was. Finally I muttered for help and the trash can was emptied and I took it back upstairs.

All James could say were things like 'oh my god' and 'this is more intense than anything'. He asked me where his phone was and saw it on the couch and put it in his hand. He looks at me oddly and says 'what is this'?

By this time, I had no sense of the passage of time. Robbie had walked out of the room at some point then I couldn’t find him. I started to worry quite a bit, because If felt responsible for if he got hurt in any way. I kept saying 'as long as no one dies or gets arrested or I get sued, it'll be ok'. In a somewhat joking manner, but kind of meant it. It turns out he was in the next room. I found him a little bit latter, lying face down in his bed. I asked if he was ok, and responded he instantly. He told me he genuinely thought he was asleep. He rode the trip out pretty well.

I believe that his was a ++++ trip, If I've ever had one. I think we all experienced ego-death to some degree. At times I would be pretty clear minded and able to talk and other times I'd just be overwhelmed with confusion, euphoria, and visuals.
At times I would be pretty clear minded and able to talk and other times I'd just be overwhelmed with confusion, euphoria, and visuals.
This was the first time I've ever had colors bleed together and mild hallucinations.

For example the subject of Hitler came up for some reason, and the tone got way scary. Out of James's nose came red abstract fractal blood, the best way I can describe it. Pools of 'fractal red' just amassed in the room. I knew it obviously wasn't blood, but it was intimidating none the less.

Effects I'd have: There'd always seem to be a fly in the room. Streaking and blurry vision. Colors would bleed together. Sometimes the hue of the room would change from green to red to blue and back to normal. Intense euphoria. Intense confusion and forgetfulness. Talking managed to happen ok, but I'm sure the conversations made no sense or were simple one word mutters of how intense/awesome/scary/crazy the experience was. Everything felt like a dream. Very long tracers. Looking at a line would not only be wavy, but twisting and spinning and twirling as well.

The trip only lasted about 3 hours and wasn’t over but had winded down by 1 and reality slowly started to come back. It wore off in waves, bit by bit. I continued to have minor OEV's and CEVS even as I slowly drifted asleep around 3am.

I wouldn't say this experience was a bad one, I quite enjoyed most of it. It would have been good if I had been prepared for such an experience. I thought I could eyeball that dosage of a substance, but it was like trying to eyeball 50mg of flour. Definitely overdosed us I'd say, I had to apologize, though they were not really that mad.

It will take a while to really assimilate this trip, and I'm sure I’ll get a couple odd questions from some of the non-tripping people at the party. I also learned my lesson about eyeballing dosages and underestimating the power of a chemical many call boring and weak.
