My friend told me about a sleep aid, it's a 2.5 oz shot of flavored water which contains 150 mg of melatonin.

I took the shot. It does in fact taste like blueberries and pomegranates, as advertised. My friend (who had taken it once before) told me the effects were immediate, perhaps that is true for some, but for me at first I felt nothing. I layed down in bed and put on some music (through headphones), and waited.

About 15 minutes after ingestion, I began to feel a tingling sensation in my extremities, and a general feeling of 'this bed is the most comfortable thing ever'. Not long after that, and as the music I was listening to hit an emotional peak, I had an almost euphoric sensation of positivity, and an increased sensitivity towards the music. I closed my eyes.

This is when things got a bit strange. I really began to pay attention to the music, and it felt as though I was experiencing it, not listening to it, I felt as if it was wasn't coming out of headphones, but that it was already in me. After about 45 or 50 minutes I drifted off to sleep. I woke up early the next morning, feeling great. Refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to start my day.

This was a very positive and interesting experience.
