Mindset and Setting- Positive mindset, at my friend, M's house. Slightly hung over from the previous night of drinking, yet maintain a positive outlook. No preparations. Had been taking antidepressants, but had quit over 3 weeks prior.

My friend and I had woke up around 10:30 A.M. We had about 4 or 5 beers, listening to music and chatting. About 11:00 A.M., M's dealer, S, shows up, (along with M's friend R, and his girlfriend L), quickly taking out his scale (though it was only accurate to the nearest hundred milligrams) and his baggie full of MDMA powder. He weighs out a bit over a gram of the MDMA. We distribute it amongst ourselves. R, M, and myself insufflate our selected doses, while L decides to take her dose orally.

This is T+0.

T+30 - The comeup was rather quick and strong for me. Palms sweating, indicating that the roll is going to be quite strong.

After chatting for a while during the comeup, smoking a couple bowls of marijuana, and a cigarette or two, I hear S, the dealer, talking about something lasting only 10-15 minutes. I had a very strong hunch that they were describing the fabled DMT. I asked, and they confirmed my suspicions. I said that I would love to try it, so I bought about 30 mg, and loaded it into the pipe.

After a quick rundown of how to operate it, I went for it.

The taste reminded me of burning rubber, plastic, and possibly gunpowder. I held the first large hit in for about ten seconds, letting it out after getting a VERY STRONG taste of the substance. S tells me to hit all of it, so I continue inhaling, until it is all gone.

Letting out the last hit, I sit, waiting, (watching M as he sinks into the couch, clearly in a very, extremely intense trip. R had also taken some DMT and seems very unenthused). Until, WHAMMMMM! The world starts transforming. Items in the room are trading colors, specifically, a Monster energy drink poster, with green on it, and another poster with red. The red and green areas would trade, where there was red, there was green, and vice versa. As I contemplate this, the concept of color begins to confuse me, instantly causing a sense of panic. But I calm myself down and enjoy the visuals as things create longgggg tracers and people talk without moving their mouths. I enjoy this until I come down at approximately 11:50.

Overall, it was a good experience and I greatly anticipate another experience similar to this one.
