I used to be an avid drug user taking mainly dxm in the form of Coricidin and Robitussin (anywhere from just 600mg to almost an entire gram), and I also took pretty much any pill that promised even the slightest high like Orphenadrine, Diphenhydramine (Dimenhydrinate is more comfortable) etc. This was around 5 months ago before I quit taking pills all together. I believe in that time I've developed a tolerance to most things, as you'll see later.

I noticed my dad had a prescription of Lyrica and decided to check it out. Apparently it's the new spotlight for 'potential abuse by teens' because it's widely prescribed and makes you feel what I'd describe as drunk.

I read somewhere that the threshold dose for feeling the high is as low as 75mg-150mg and an 'extreme' dose is around 1000mg+. I took 11 pills at one time when I decided to try them out, they were 75mg each. I'm not a fan of snorting, but I heard these don't burn like other things do.

With a total of 825mg ingested, all I had to do now was wait. I'm usually anxious when I'm waiting for new pills to come up and with things like Diphenhydramine, that can ruin the entire trip and is unavoidable. On these, I just felt happier and happier, found interest in everything I was doing and was incredibly focused.

About an hour and 15 minutes after I took the pills, I noticed a huge change in things that hit me like a brick on a train. I was still focused and I was still feeling euphoric, but when I'd stand up, I'd immediately almost fall down, my balance was terrible. That just made me laugh so I continued to walk. My house is relatively cold and I felt like a walk out into the warm sun would feel perfect- and it did. I couldn't adjust to the slant of my sidewalk/driveway and had to be very careful how I walked or I'd fall, but I felt much better than I ever had in my life. My muscles were relaxed (unlike with Diphenhydramine where they become too relaxed and you feel heavy and bad) to the perfect extent so I went out back next to the pool and just laid in the sun. I took these pills around 11am and was high until about 6pm. The euphoria lasted all day but I eventually regained my balance.
I woke up the next day feeling amazing and sleeping was no trouble for me (while usually it is impossible for me to sleep).
