I'm a casual party-drug user. I have a lot of experience with mushrooms, a good deal with cocaine, and I've tried MDMA and acid a few times each.
I make a point not to take a heroically large dose of any of these substances, for fear that it might involve a bad trip or cause me to do something too far outside the usual borders of my personality. However, the other night I got very drunk and made a miscalculation on an MDMA dose.
I got very drunk and made a miscalculation on an MDMA dose.
I was intending to split the 'powder' between myself and another person, but accidentally took nearly all 4 hits myself. It was wrapped up in a single paper towel and I drunkenly attempted to tear it in half evenly and 'parachute' it.
My friend said she experienced little effects, but I experienced extreme time distortion, irreconcilable double vision, inability to concentrate, and intense euphoria. Keep in mind I was quite drunk.
It is now three days after the experience and I am still not feeling like myself. My vision still seems fuzzy and slightly doubled at times with intrusive 'auras.' I feel very emotionally and physically depressed, and I have experienced nausea after eating. Overall, I feel unmotivated and have had a difficult time concentrating.
From what I can tell by reading FAQs, this is not very rare. The last few days have been very unpleasant and I don't have a clue when I'll be feeling better.
