To start things off I'll add a short background. If you don't want to read it, skip to the area with the dashes.

I grew up with obsessive compulsive personality disorder and clinical depression (diagnosed). By age 12 I started doing drugs. Right now I've had experience with a lot of different psychoactives from stimulants (methylphenidate, amphetamines, coke, etc.) to deliriants/dissociatives (dxm, salvia divinorum, diphenhydramine, etc.) not to mention all the benzos and opiates in between. At age 15 I started getting into powerlifting because my parents demanded I quit (threatened to report me to the authorities). And it's been ~6 months since I started lifting.

After a few months my whole look changed. I looked much bulkier and was much happier (had just dropped the amphetamine/adderall habit). I was also off psych meds (was on zoloft, prozac, effexor, and worst of all risperidone - yuck!). Soon after I began to crave something to get even stronger, as we all know power is the ULTIMATE drug. My mother agreed to let me take prohormones/steroids as long as I didn't return to drugs. I started off with a cycle of androsterone which is still legal and can be bought on the internet. I gained quite some strength after about a month, nothing TOO amazing though.

A few days after the androsterone cycle I asked my mother to go and check Mexico (we live in the border and anabolics are legal there) for methandrostenolone (dianabol) or durabolin (nandrolone) and some tamoxifen for the gynecomastia I developed in puberty. Unfortunately she couldn't get her hands on neither but she did get the tamoxifen, and the fact that I'm always looking through the list of legal prohormones I found DHEA to be a good one to try.

I had my hands on a stack of DHEA (50 mg, to be taken 2x daily) and tamoxifen (20 mg, once daily) to fight the gynecomastia. Now for the experience:

T+1:00hr: nothing much, wasn't expecting anything anyway, thought DHEA had no psychoactive components, but boy was I wrong...

T+1:30hr: good mood going on, thought it was just a good day, didn't think it was because of the DHEA.

T+2:00hr: good mood was escalating, feeling content and stronger.

T+3:00hr: very good mood, euphoria, talkativeness, had a mild distortion of senses, especially the sense of reality. At the time I thought I was having a flashback from all the DXM I had done about a year ago (from the time of the experience), basically it felt like a low dose of adderall mixed with a small amount of alcohol.

T+5:00hr: euphoria, but lethargy, fever, and a headache, distorted perception of reality still very mild. (attribute the second and third side effects to the tamoxifen as I've heard it can cause heat flashes). Felt similar to codeine.

T+7:00hr: heat flash wearing off and feeling content again.

T+9:00hr: took my second dose. The effects remained the same for a while. I went to the gym at this time and bench pressed. I maxed at 225 with a small amount of help from my spotter. I tried to get a second rep in there but I only got a half-rep, I did this at age 15 by the way. Strength was definately increased.

T+12:00hr: went to the football game. It is cold out but I can't seem to be bothered by it. Euphoria. Eyes seem to have trouble focusing at times, my friend describes me as stuck in a daze, yet very talkative and having a fun time. Very similar to mild/moderate alcohol consumption but without the body-sedation. Feeling ready to take on the world, very juiced out, very confident, ready for a fight. Feeling horny. Previous depression from the days before and all the stress was gone.

T+13:30hr: ate, rather quickly, happy. Stimulation/sedation has slowly worn off.

T+15:00hr: sleep, very relaxing. Woke up sore from the workout and pretty calm.

Unfortunately I have to keep taking it daily so I'm pretty sure the intoxicating effects will wear off. However I've heard the antidepressant effects stick around. Also I've heard it has a negative effect on OCD and it does seem to be true but the pros outweigh the cons.
