I'm 51 and done pretty much every type of drug available, especially as a youth. I heard about salvia, researched about salvia and ended up buying a salvia sampler pack online. Last night I smoked a point 2 in a little brass bowl, using a torch lighter and was rewarded with a warm delightful feeling and some vivid mandala-like hallucinations, after a few minutes it went away and I fell asleep nicely.

I woke up all pleased with my little experiment and looked forward to the evening and another little puff at the end of the day. 8:22 pm I loaded the bowl with a bit less than the previous evening. Went to my bedroom, sat down and again used my torch to spark the bowl. Again I took a pull and held it in a couple of seconds, put down the bowl and lay down to 'enjoy' my trip.

All of a sudden the world split apart into planks of colors that I became part of, the planks were curling on the ends and compressing and the universe was being put away. That is not the scary part, the scary part is that an old stoner like me has been caught off guard and totally convinced that this vision was true and happening. I got up and fought against immense gravitational forces pulling me to the left and up, totally blind to the physical world, looking for my wife to say goodbye, all the while seeing the fabric of the space between realities, with voices whispering 'did he see?' 'does he know?' 'what should we do with him'. I found my wife a begged her to hug me and save me and as soon as I held her I only then knew that I was hallucinating.

The hallucination persisted alongside and through real objects for a minute. I was certain the universe had reached its end during the peak of this vision and if it had gone on for much longer I don't think I'd be able to write this as I feel I would totally lose my mind.

There was no control over where this drug took me and I just had to tuff it out. The first time I heard of this drug someone called it the 3 minute nightmare and I scoffed and read up on it thinking it had been maligned like cannabis and coca leaf, but let me tell you... scariest shit ever.
