The dosage is uncertain because I have no way of verifying the purity of the substance I obtained. I started very slow until I became familiar with the substance and my body's reaction to it.
Late on a calm night I snorted what I felt to be a significant dosage of MXE. In preparation I had some food and water, picked a spot on the floor, and put on my headphones. I wasted perhaps 20 mins and then played the Bjork album Biophilia. A jimi hendrix t-shirt rolled up blocked any light from my eyes. There was a feeling of stillness and calm from both the setting and the drug. Every detail of the music was there for me to inspect. There seemed to be a vast empty space in my mind, lit up by the tension and release of harmonies. My mind wandered from the music at times, but much less frequently than a standard sober listening. The music seemed to have a physical quality, percussion and notes seemingly moving throughout my body.
Time was quite distorted, it seemed both faster and slower than usual, if that makes any sense. Mentally I felt 'centered', calm, not needing to go anywhere or do anything. When the music was over I got up and noticed my balance was off. Every physical sensation seemed 'softer'. Visually everything seemed either smaller or larger than usual, and there was a crisp, clear quality. Looking at a glass of water I noticed a lot of refracted light that normally would have escaped my attention. Personally I enjoy this chemical greatly, although I have heard of less heavenly experiences.
