I was in a fight with my boyfriend, he had gone out drinking with his buddies without telling me, and I was at home alone, now I had gotten some kava drink mix from the hemp shop, it said mix with cold water or your favorite drink... underneath 'Not for human consumption', tried it with water and it was vile, stuff is green and grainy with a moldy after taste. I went to the store to get a slush, I could still taste the mix, but not as bad, it would go down my throat smoothly compared to the water where I had to hold my nose just for a sip.

Anyway, I'm a heavy cannabis user, and fighting with my boyfriend had me in tears that could not be fixed by smoking a joint, if anything it would have worked me up more, half way through my slush; the tears stopped and a numbness spread to my fingertips and an almost drunken feeling.

I'm still working on it, but hope to have pleasant dreams.

I started taking small doses throughout the week before this, because I heard it's like weed, one doesn't get the 'high' the first few times, just a few sprinkles to a gram to 9 grams, I'm not sure on the exact dosage of Kavalactones, since I just bought a mix from the hemp store; had minimal information, even the girl behind the counter was curious of the effecs.

I was depressed before drinking it, now I feel slightly euphoric, tingly numb with complete mental clarity.

Other than the taste, this is a pleasant substance...
