6 Months of Bath Salts AKA Hell

I write this in hope of saving someone from the curse of the well know bath salt craze.

I started off slowly doing a brand called tranquility with my friends, the first few times I only sniffed it. Then my friends got me to IV the powder (being a recovering heroin addict I had no fear of needles), and when I took this first shot, it was all down hill from there. We started doing salts every day anywhere from one jar, to 8 jars, pretty much as much as we could afford. I would go for 7-20 days without sleep, going into paranoid delusional hallucinations. This kept going day after day, week after week, month after month.

At first it was like a dream come true, a legal drug that was more potent than street drugs, and I could buy it legally 5 miles from my house for $30. Well it turned out to be a nightmare. It was like heroin addiction but only worse, I was shooting a completely unknown chemical into my veins for 6 months (literally within those 6 months there might have been 2 weeks worth of days that I didn't get high). [Erowid Note: Driving while intoxicated, tripping, or extremely sleep deprived is dangerous and irresponsible because it endangers other people. Don't do it!] I once after being awake for 8 days was on my way to the store to get more and my brain blacked out, and almost killed myself and 2 friends going down the highway. Once after doing around 8 jars in 2 days was so paranoid and delusional, I almost stabbed my friend because I thought he stole some of my salts.

Thankfully for me the end of my run was when the state I live in, PA, banned all salts and made them illegal, otherwise I would still be doing them to this day. Over 6 months I can only estimate I spent around $10,000 on bath salts (this including my GF at the time). I see its getting banned in most states thank god but they keep coming out with new versions (I tried the new stuff and its junk thank god again, lol).
