Loss of Magic During MDMA Use

I have used MDMA about 10-15 times over the past 3 years. Until about a year or so, I could always predict the effects. I had had some that I could tell was not so pure, leaving me distracted and kind of bored, while the more pure stuff almost sent me into another world, teeth-grinding, constant butterflies, euphoria, desire to dance - everything. The hangovers were not something I minded, yet I took it with the expectation of having them.

Unfortunately, I believe I built a tolerance to it.
Unfortunately, I believe I built a tolerance to it.
The past 5 times I have taken it within the past 15 months have not been nearly as euphoric as my prior experiences. I have found myself tired, irritable, not euphoric, unwilling to be in a concert setting - which is usually where I had taken it. The intensity of the drug has diminished altogether.

This could be attributed to the fact that it may not be the right setting, or the fact that my very first dose was a dangerous amount (on accident) - definitely killed some nerve endings.

Now, I prefer to stay away from it. If it's something that causes depression afterwards, I want none of it. I prefer the natural stuff instead - it makes music sound just as beautiful.
