Haven't done DXM in a loooong time, so thought maybe the infamous 'fifty-trip-limit' might have expired.

19:00 - 300 mg DXM gelcaps on an empty stomach, followed by hot drink (espresso)

20:00 - Mellow stone coming on very slowly. Music sounds great.

21:00 - FAQ says nicotine can enhance, so smoked a small but strong cigar plus 4 mg nicotine lozenges

22:00 - Music is really fantastic. Everything from classical (Sibelius) to Suns of Arqa is blowing my mind.

23:00 - The nicotine seems to extend the DXM experience, especially the pleasant upside.

23:20 - Took Clonazepam 2 mg (mentioned in FAQ as sometimes enhancing the DXM experience), plus Modafinil 100 mg.
Modafinil is an atypical stimulant unrelated to amphetamines (you can sleep on it!).
I figure the combo might overcome the 'gray' letdown I have often experienced after DXM.

24:20 - Feeling good. The entheogenic DXM (or DXO) experience seems to be mainly over;
I feel pleasantly relaxed, unlike the 'limbo' feeling I have experienced after higher doses.

This was definitely a first plateau experience (high 1st maybe), but (perhaps because I've been away
from it a while) it is really trippy. When I was doing DXM 4 years ago, I was going for 4th plateau,
deep-in-the-hole experiences. This is a very pleasant contrast.
Not every trip has to be 20,000 leagues under the sea!
