I tried some of this new DMT tonight, in a glass pipe. Now I've never 'broken through' before but mostly by choice. I'd always pull back right around threshold, being wary. I'm quite experienced with LSD and have had mushroom experiences too. I've been preparing myself mentally for years now for a full blown DMT experience and I felt my time was ready.

Tonight I loaded some up. I may have put a tiny bit too much in there because my third toke vaped up and condensed like no one's business and I got a MASSIVE hit right after two pretty decent ones anyway. I felt the tremors. I heard the noise, a tear.. through space-time? All of a sudden I was on the 'flip-side', like I had crossed to a different reality. I felt like I was in the same space, the same X,Y,Z coordinates, but I had moved along a different axis unmeasurable by man. Then there were the elves... The gnomes... SO MANY OF THEM. I was outdoors looking at a blue-purple night sky, with vibrant green 'grass' (it wasn't grass but I have no better term for it) surrounding me. There were many trees. Strange trees that looked like something out of a Dr. Seuss book... and SO MANY elves. Chattering. Observing. Never saying a word directly to me but seeming happy enough to have me visiting, provided I didn't overstay my welcome. One thing to note was that this space was LOUD with chattering and general white noise.

All of this was happening while I felt like I was moving at the speed of light 'through the centre of the universe' I want to say, but I was clearly rooted in place in the land of the fractal elves. I thanked them, audibly, for welcoming me. I was finding it extremely difficult to see, very similar to when I have a high dose of acid and everything gets blurry. I wear glasses, I wish I could take them with me, so to speak.

I had meditated better than ever before this experience, clearing my mind for what lie ahead. I was on the floor in my home office. After meditation I reached ahead and grabbed my pipe and took three long, slow, deep tokes and then lay back to experience what you read above. Now, my computer chairs have quite high backs, my vision sucks at night and I had the lights off and the lava lamp going, the light was very difficult to see in. The trip was insanely intense toward the end of my stay with the elves and my eyes opened as I got reacquainted with reality. However, as I mentioned, it was dark and I had these massive chairs looming over me, feeling like three times my height as I was sitting on the floor there. The CHAIRS felt inhabited by these machine elves, and looming over me like that I felt quite intimidated and had to remind myself that this wouldn't last too long. I stumbled to my feet to turn on the light so that I could get my bearings but as I stood I felt the elves communicate directly with me. My consciousness still felt split between two planes and they were telling me that if I were to do that my stay in their world was over for tonight. Unfortunately I get a little anxious occasionally when I can't see and I'm on psychedelics so I steered myself toward my light switch.

It should be noted that my better DMT experiences in the past have been ALONE. I did a lot of preparation for tonight's experience and again went ahead alone, although my wife was asleep in the room next to me and knew I had the DMT so I was comfortable that help wasn't too far away. At one point I felt some regret that I did not have a sitter present to help ground me when in such an alien place, but I think this experience has started to teach me how to deal with some things like that by myself which I have never been good at.

So, after turning on my light everything started returning to baseline relatively quickly. I was quite stunned for a little while. This was by far the best DMT I have ever tried. Although the experience was a little frightening I expected no less from such an alien space. I'll certainly be back to explore further provided they are happy to have me!
