Erowid seeks well-written reports about the use of psychoactive plants, chemicals, and technologies as well as activities like yoga, meditation, or dreaming.

A good report includes:

Description of mindset & setting
Dosage & timing information
Physical and mental effects felt during and after
Preparations made or intentions for the experience
Medications, herbs, or supplements being taken
Insights gained and/or problems encountered

An unacceptable report:

Has no paragraphs, punctuation, or capitalization, and poor spelling.
Describes what others will experience rather than your own.
Includes only a list of activities or nonspecific information about being "fucked up".
The use of the term "SWIM".

Reports are used for education, harm-reduction, and research. Not all are published. Each is reviewed for writing quality, interest, and usefulness. Some are published within days, others can take a year or more to be reviewed. Please be patient.
