Greetings Friends,
The last few weeks have been an especially intensive time of programming and site work for us. It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day management of Erowid to the occasional detriment of longer-term development. So we took a week "off" from normal work, cut the phone lines, shut down the email, and spent some much needed time focusing on larger projects. We got some good work done and plan to use this technique to make more headway on those projects over the next couple of months.
We welcome submissions, suggestions, criticisms, or corrections at submissions@erowid.org.

- DEA Approves MAPS MDMA Study

The DEA has approved MAPS's study to look at the potential therapeutic benefits of using MDMA in conjunction with psychotherapy to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The MDMA has actually been received at the study site and the first subjects should begin to receive treatment by the end of April.
