There is so much to say in this issue of the e-announcement, we don't quite know where to start. For starters, hand-blown glass molecules are back as membership gifts! We'll be sending out a short announcement in a couple of days with details.

Erowid's presentation at the October 5th North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology in San Francisco was a resounding success. At the same time Extracts was headed to the printer, Erowid was also at the American Public Health Association exhibition in Boston. Look for a future report on how our booth at this 13,000-person event was received.

1. Erowid Server Downtime
   
   Please note that we are having a scheduled service interruption starting tomorrow (Nov 17) at about 6pm PST (Sat 2am UTC). After 980 days of continous uptime, we are moving the main server to a new, more modern service center under the same ISP. Erowid could be down for a couple of hours or longer, depending on how well the reboot goes. http://de1.erowid.org/ has an archive of the site that should be available during the downtime.
