- PayPal ban rumors?A vendor told us that PayPal had "audited" their business and refused to process any payments in the future for invoices that include any Kratom products. The vendor shared the email from PayPal with Erowid. (May 2013)
- Used in Combo with BetelKratom leaves are sometimes used in combination with Betel.1
- MitragynineMitragynine is chemically somewhat similar to yohimbine and psilocybine.1
- Harvesting TimeIt has been reported that the leaves of M. speciosa are most potent in the late Autumn, just before the leaves fall off.
- Mellow GoldProducts sold as "mellow gold" are NOT Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa). At this time (3/21/04), Mellow Gold continues to be sold, but has not been identified. [more info]
