The US FDA has released two series of adverse case reports of deaths possibly related to kratom. The first report was released on Dec 15, 2017 and the second report was released on February 20, 2018. They outline several dozen deaths with varying levels of detail including some related to seizures, heart arhythmia, and choking on vomit. Some are poly-drug cases while others were reportedly kratom alone. Many/most do not contain any toxicological or autopsy findings.
