“Effects of lysergic acid diethylamide upon certain aspects of memory (delayed alternation) in monkeys.”.
Fed. Proc.. 1958;17:381.
Abstract
0.01 mg/kg LSD significantly decreased the accuracy of trained monkeys in a test but had relatively little effect on the rate of performance. By contrast, chlorpromazine, amphetamine and pentobarbital produced changes in the rate of performance with relatively little effect on accuracy. . Marked tolerance to LSD developed when the drug was given on several consecutive days. . [The route by which LSD was administered is not stated.]
