“Etude expérimentale de l'estimation du temps sous LSD-25.”.
Presse méd.. 1959;67:1000.
Eight normal subjects were given LSD [dosage?] s.c. or orally and asked to indicate the passage of 10 or 30 seconds, either after a demonstration of this time period (reproduction test) or without such a demonstration (production test). They also had to indicate a period which they considered to be neither short nor long (indifference interval). The reproduction and production tests showed that the subjects thought time passed rapidly. The indifference interval was longer than in control studies and the range of variance was greater. The errors are attributed to reduced attention and enhanced indifference.
