Abstract
This paper contains the following observations: . Amphetamine (0.5-1.0 mg/kg i.p.) produced a fall in the threshold for unconditioned arousal but did not affect the conditioned arousal response. After 1.5-2.0 mg/kg i.p. the animal became permanently alert. (See 587)
