Abstract
'Ecstasy' (3,4 -Methylenedioxymethamphetamine: MDMA)is a commonly used recreational drug in New Zealand. Its use has been increasing over the last number of years, in common with other western countries. There have been many documented sequelae to the use of 'Ecstasy', both short-term and over the longer term.
