“A physician's guide to LSD”.
GP. 1967;35:95-100.
Abstract
Physicians must be informed about LSD in order to convey appropriate caution to the public. The LSD experience or "trip" is unique, intenses and characterized by a loss of control over perception, thought and emotion. These factors contribute to dependence of a "guide" and openness to suggestion. Complications include panic reactions and psychosis. LSD is a black market drug with no guarantees as to purity and accuracy of dose. No adequately controlled studies of therapeutic uses are yet available.
