“Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD25)'s effects on the microcirculation”.
Pharmacologist. 1967;9:224.
Abstract
The present investigations were undertaken to determine the effects of the LSD-25 on the cardiovascular system and especially on the microcirculation and on the bl. Pressure, given that this hallucinogenic agent causes mental intoxication with various manifestations and pyschoses, and the reports of its effects on the circulation are very rare and negative. Direct observations were made in the rat mesocaecum by in vivo miscroscopy after I.V. injection of LSD-25, using the mesocaecum bioassay techinque for visualization of the microvessels.
