“The effects of sympathomimetic drugs on renal vessels”.
J Pharmacol Exp Ther. 1958 Nov 01;124(3):238-44.
Abstract
The ability of adrenal medullary extracts to constrict renal vessels was first demonstrated by Richards and Plant in 1922, using the perfused dog's kidney. Other investigators using other techniques have subsequently confirmed this local constriction of renal vessels, not only for adrenal extracts but also for synthetic epinephrine and levarterenol.
