Background:
I'm not a habitual smoker, nor never been. I use to chew tobacco in high school but have since quit and have not desire to start again. I'm pretty active and exercise daily and thus never smoked as I saw it as a contradiction to my athletic gains. However, recently I've been curious about the effects of nicotine in tobacco and have been moderately experimenting. In addition, I suffered a recent knee injury that has limited, though not completely halted, my exercise.
I have used psilocybin mushrooms around 7 times, and am an occasion (once every few month) cannabis smoker.
Experience:
I had a recent experience with roughly 5g of mushrooms (going for the Hero dose but they weren't that strong). Like every time I use mushrooms, I felt the fungi cleansing my insides. My knee was included and felt like it was being twisted back into proper alignment. Following the trip, it wasn't magically healed, but it definitely felt like some serious gains had been made. I've been doing physical therapy and Iyengar Yoga (heavy alignment focus) to continue taking strides.
Yesterday, I smoked a bowl of tobacco and as a result experienced a nice body buzz in which my knee felt even better and looser. Since that bowl of tobacco, my knee still has more mobility than before.
