Buspirone and Psilocybin My Experience

I have been taking Buspirone for a few weeks after several incidents of kicking heroin and relapsing due to having a 'void' that couldn't be filled once heroin was out of my system.

I avoid psychotropics as a rule, but after much research online about it, I decided to try it. My girlfriend marvels at how I do not hesitate to use illegal drugs but take issue with 'approved' drugs. I won't waste time discussing that other than my belief that marijuana, opium, and psilocybin have had relationships with humans for thousands of years and the effects and dangers are well known. The same cannot be said for government approved drugs. (IMHO)

I use psilocybin about once a month for its well known benefits, and was concerned how it would react to this strange new substance in my system. This is why I opted for a lower dose than 5 to 7 grams, I figured 2 grams would bring on a psychedelic experience but allow me some ability to cope should the Buspar cause negative effects.

Preparation
I skipped my morning dose of 7.5 mg Buspar, and fasted from food with the exception of an orange, and around 1pm took my 2 gram dose of powdered psilocybin in hot water with ginger.

Set and Setting
I went down to the river with some weed and a bottle of water and stretched and did yoga while I waited for the effects to come on. Results were fine, the low dose did as expected, gave me a manageable trip while alone, and I feel that I can safely increase dosage next time.
