Alright, so to start the experience off, I should list off some of the things I've tried, most during my sophomore year of high school. I have done at least 50 or so hits of acid which is my drug of choice, and on top of that, I have tried mushrooms, ketamine, DXM, hydrocodone, suboxone, oxycodone, codeine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, methylphenidate, klonopin, xanax, salvia, K2, 2-cb, MDMA, MDA, DOb, Datura, Benadryl, and probably a few other things I forgot before this experience.

I was simply dosing a small sample of local shrooms, and having gone to ski for the weekend, I was excited to get away. School had been fucked, as somebody's mother reported me for selling an e-cigarette when I quit smoking, and I had told the kid before not to try hard drugs, but his mom still thought I was the asshole and reported me. Luckily I had been cautious not to sell the kid anything else so I'm probably not in trouble, but Thursday, when I had been told the news by the kid, and Friday, were ridiculously anxiety ridden. Planning for the trip Friday I was really worried that I wouldn't have the greatest of times. What follows was a cool experience nonetheless.

0:00 I ate the mushrooms dry at 3:15, while I had just smoked a bowl and a cig before coming in. I had really bad dry mouth and almost had to heave the shrooms out, but I wasn't about to waste my happy herb, and finished with a cup of orange juice which I so badly needed. I listened to some peaceful cloud rap and this psychedelic orchestral indie-rock. It always adds to my persistent dreamy experience of any good hallucinogen, which I really look forward to. It's not in any regards an addictive lust, but one of respect of the chemicals, now that I have tried plenty and still come back to my good old friends acid and mushrooms.

0:20 My friend picks me up for the weekend and I smoke before I leave. I end up forgetting my charger, but I think I should blame the over-excited kid that I was, looking forward to a clean and safe trip, and some skiing for the end of the year. Beginning the trip I have a cig, and start to feel a bit of a body high settling in, but no visuals whatsoever. We listen to some good music, some which I still have stuck in my head, and since I was vibing out during the beginning of the road trip, I was too distracted to ask for song names. Bummer.

0:45 Had a few more cigs as I waited for the mushrooms to kick in completely. I had one small illusion of my vision, in which I saw a car dealship sign that seemed to melt to the ground in particular spots, making clear attributes of a face. I laughed, told my friend, and we moved on after he kinda roasted me for being stupid.

1:00 I start feeling pretty nice, and we go to a gas station. I chill in the car as he runs inside, and I felt like people saw how relaxed and happy I was, laying upwards across my seat with a half-grin. I got a little scared when I saw a cop, but I quickly transitioned to not caring. We arrive at a friends house.

1:15 After smoking 2 bowls, we left to head to the mountain resort, where we met up with a security and smoked. This guy was super chill and the mountain was closed. Snow started to fall, and we had roughly 2 inches so far. We smoked a lot, packing like 5-7 bowls between 3 people. My friend who drove me up drank lean, and sat next to me in the back of the truck. We kept laughing and saying stupid, incoherent sentences to get the others and ourselves laughing.

1:30 I reach into a utility basket and grab a traffic light, that strobes when you click the button twice. Not knowing, I clicked it to turn off the stationary light and got a cool warp with the strobe light that looked like a flashing blue snake. I told my friends, and the security asked me what I was on. Telling him I took mushrooms, we instantly bonded on a few trip stories. It was cool as fuck, and good to relate and not be alienated as some kid bugging out. We talked and smoked for around an hour and a half, and snow fell pretty hard at that point. The entire time, we listened to trippy music, and I spent my time looking at the windows, dripping with warping water trails and snowflakes. I vibed for a while, felt a relaxing body high, and enjoyed the night for what little I took of the mushrooms. We drifted around the parking lots in the company truck for the another hour, and took off in my friend's Jeep. I had 2 epiphany moments where I really thought about how I should enjoy what I have, and underindulge to truly find what I'm looking for in tripping. I shouldn't be tripping weekly, and I should respect the chemicals more than just waiting until I can feel similar effects again.

4:00 When we took off, we all knew that we were all pretty messed up, having the driver just smoked, and he smoked a lot. We struggled up a few hills and made it to the neighborhood.

4:05 We arrived on a downhill slope heading to the house. The driver starts to slip around a corner, and the jeep's back end touches a snow bank, turning the car the opposite way of the turn 90 degrees, down into a ditch, and head on into a telephone pole, off the side of the road and 4 feet in a ditch. A minute passes while we recover from shock I think, and we got out.

The driver hands my friend the pot shit, and I have my stuff. My friend hands me the driver's shit, and we walk towards the house in a blizzard. I was very anxiety ridden, and pissed off, because everybody just handed me the illegal shit. Great friends but I was glad we were all okay. We arrive at the house, me and my friend play xbox while I start to come down to baseline, and smoke a shit ton. The driver and his dad went to tow the totalled jeep, up the road.

5:00 We play zombies on black ops 2, I began to just want to sit and smoke. We play for a bit, and the driver comes back but not with his dad. His dad took off from the scene as the driver drove down without brakes. When he arrives, we smoke, rant to each other, and bond over our crazy experience for the night.

6:00 At this point I can tell that my vision has nothing wrong (or distorted, it feels pretty right to me). I find a place to sleep for the night and my friend who drove me up actually leaves during the snowstorm. I didn't sleep much this night, having been sober at 9, 6 hours after I ate the mushrooms. Overall this was a great experience, but the ending was pretty messed up. I hope to redeem this trip with a slice of the same stuff, and really try not to have a near death experience again. But in reality, I learned not to fuck around, and it's very good that I learned early enough, before I hurt myself or others seriously.
