Smoking and Preparing Calea Crystals

After reading so much about Lucid Dreaming and Calea Zacatechichi I just had to get my hands on some. The first thing I did was ground a small portion of the herb and put it in capsules. I started taking the capsules 30 minutes before bed in hopes of having more vibrant dreams. Unfortunately I did not have much success in this regard. My next attempt was to smoke the herb.

When I decided to try smoking the herb I went looking for my coffee grinder but for some reason could not find it. I decided to use the next best thing, my Cannabis grinder. When grinding the herb for some reason I had this inclination to look at my crystal catcher. When I looked I discovered there were new Calea crystals being caught. With this in mind I went about grinding 6g of Calea slowly catching the crystals below. I then decided to smoke just the crystals with some tobacco.

I filled my bong piece with Tobacco and Calea Crystals (potentially small traces of Cannabis Crystals, very minuscule) and took a hit. I was instantly, stoned? I couldn’t quite put it into words. The Calea crystals made me high in a way Cannabis doesn’t. As it stands, I have a fairly high tolerance to Cannabis and it takes a lot to make me feel really stoned. When I smoked the Calea it brought about this sense of wobbliness and a slowdown of time. The Calea crystals seem to have a higher potency than just the leaves themselves (remember I collected these crystals from about 6g of leaves) and makes for a very interesting experience.
