This happened about 36 hours ago. I've had a lot of time to process. I decided to try this combo because I have already tried all three in the past. I was very familiar with DXM, learning to completely enjoy myself on any dosage. In the 2 previous shrooms trips I've had, they've been with others, so I figured for my first solo embark I decided a calm 2nd plat would put me in a great mindset to receive whatever information I needed to get.

Although I am of age, I still live with my parents to help with rent, and to have cheap housing while I'm going through trade school. My mother is accepting of my drug use, she just doesn't want to know about it when its going on. It's a great system because I don't want her knowing.

8:00 pm- I pick up my 5 oz bottle of delsym (it's fucking 20 dollars now).

8:30- I get home and get some stuff prepared, water bottles, piss jug, lighting, and finally down the grapy syrup in 4 gulps, chasing it with mountain dew. I notice my mindset is relaxed and emptied. I hop in the shower with some Modest Mouse, knowing I've got about 2 hours to comeup.

10:00- I'd been chatting with some folks, someone recommended some Tame Impala/ Mac DeMarco, so I listened through Currents and some of mdm's hits. I was feeling a little loose.

11:00- I was feeling pretty good off the Dex, so I reached for my mushrooms and ate them straight (I never mind the taste). The sensation in my mouth felt particularly deja vu like, as in, I've tasted them before either of my other shrooms trips. They've always been familiar.

11:30- I felt the shrooms coming on, felt pretty cool in my body load, and felt the urge to turn on the mollusk album by ween. Amazing idea. After the intro, I took a hit of weed and shit started real hard.

11:50- As the little bit of weed came on, the mushrooms kept coming on, my headspace became extremely intense. I was using those earbuds with the rubber tips, and it felt like the music was being poured into my brain. The mollusk has never sounded like this. The shrooms were most definitely the dominant drug of the night. Like 85 percent dominant. I began to feel like I was under water, every song was orgasmic. Every song had meaning I could feel in my core. My mind felt like it was electric and my eyes were balls of light. I've listened to the album 6 times in the past 36 hours.

12:30- When the album ended I tried typing in modest mouse, after a few tries I got it, I was peaking off all three drugs at this point so it was definitely difficult. I only made it through a few songs. It was extremely intense, and euphoric, but halfway through The Stars Are Projectors and I got filled with this primal urge to turn on The Beast with a Billion Backs. I haven't seen it in years and I just knew in that moment that I would be able to fully comprehend it.

The movie was trippy as shit. The trippiest part was that my thoughts felt like they moved in a reverse spiral, so I'd have a thought, and then something would happen in the movie right after the thought. I'd seen the movie a handful of times prior, I was unconsciously anticipating what was happening, and getting blown away. It all applied to me. I felt like I was in the movie. I was not comprehending the movie in any normal way, but I was in it. I'd felt like I'd done it all before. Like I'd taken shrooms and tripped to the movie before.

I could feel the Dex throughout the night. If I tried I could almost go out of body, reducing my field of vision until the laptop on my thighs looked yards away. I felt aware enough of my own tendencies. If a worry came up, I knew that I'd already taken care of anything that would bite me in the ass. Calm.

It all hit like a brick, and the notion that I was being literally dumped with information didn't disappear until the next morning. The visuals were amazing. After the mollusk, the rest of my trip felt smooth. Wavy. Playful. Like I was under water. My computer screen was beautiful. All the characters resembled fish with their cartoon edges being even more wavy, and the off center eyes being way more apparent. Everyone looked beautiful in their own way even though they were just cartoons. The entirety of the trip felt like I was swimming. Swimming with a very powerful otherworldly mind.

I fell asleep after some more futurama which was equally as intense, at probably 4 am. I woke up the next day feeling very refreshed with a light afterglow. Felt like I had just come up from a sensory deprivation tank, and I had this information that could lead me to do whatever I want. I had a great confidence. Felt no symptoms of a comedown. I felt very normal the next morning.
