Spicy Ayahuasca

I decided to try an Ayahuasca ceremony which was based in western mysticism. The day and time were extremely auspicious and I was looking forward to success. I incorporated certain aspects of Taoist mysticism in hopes that it would aid the process. Did lots of meditation beforehand as well.

The initial recipe I used was:

MAOI containing brew:
5g Banisteriopsis Caapi
3g Passionflower

DMT containing brew:
5g Acacia confusa
2g Acacia flowers
3g Chamomile
0.5g Blue lotus

I decided on the ingredients because it was a Monday so I wanted to stick with plants with a "yin" nature, but that didn't go according to planned.

I took the first brew at 7pm, waited 30 minutes, then took the second brew. 45 minutes after consumption of the second brew I felt the euphoria associated with the plant. Giggles, happiness, and I started to feel very light. After about an hour or so, I started to see the walls moving in waves and flowing like a river.

Unfortunately, this was the farthest I got into the trip. I'm not sure if my ingredients were losing potency or what was happening. But 2 and a half hours in and it was wearing off so I decided to make some more. But this time I wanted to get the full experience so I altered the recipe to this:

MAOI containing brew:
7g Banisteriopsis Caapi
3g Passionflower
2g Nutmeg
2g Tumeric
3g Black pepper

DMT containing brew:
7g Mimosa Hostilis

I had read online that piperine enhances the effects of MAOI's and that Nutmeg and Tumeric contain MAOI's so I thought this would enhance the experience, and I was right.

I made both brews very fast, using lots of lemon juice to help with the extraction, I only did 1 pull on each of the brews, and I took the first brew. About 30 minutes after the first brew, the world started shaking, getting more intense as each moment passed. Shaking side to side violently, and at this point I knew the MAOI had kicked in so I started taking the second brew. About 3/4 the way through the second brew and I projectile vomited across the room. My stomachs couldn't take it. So I waited another little bit to try and take the rest of the brews but it came up almost immediately. For the next 2 and a half hours, everything was shaking violently and the only thing that helped the vertigo was walking . So I went for a walk with my friend.

According to my friend, I wasn't hallucinating, but my eyes were physically darting back and forth rapidly. This was all due to the MAOI being way more powerful than it should've been in my opinion. I never had any visuals outside of the shaking because I vomited too quickly, but the shaking was very annoying after the first bit. All in all a very unique experience with a large dose of MAOI's.

I would like to see more research done on the effects of nutmeg, tumeric, and pepper on Ayahuasca, as perhaps I just took too much.
