My friends and I are always looking for new ways to get high. When I saw that my grandmother was growing poppies, I new I had to try them. Whenever I have ingested the seeds, I have always just eaten them. The first time I did this, nothing really happened except I was calm and I had to use the bathroom. The seeds were all in my elimination.
The second time I did this, it was with some of my friends. I ate probably a handful and a half to two handfuls. It took awhile for it to set in but I started to feel really relaxed. My friend, Jacob, was in the relaxed state also, but he had to pee seven times in thirty minutes. Also, another of my friends, Mike, had been drinking kind of heavily and had eaten a lot of pizza. He threw up 8-9 times after swallowing the seeds. After about an hour of 'chillin,' it hit me pretty hard. I could barely move. It was hard for me to lift my hand from my chest. Also, I couldn't open my eyelids very easily. It was like I was asleep but I could comprehend everything very well. This lasted for a good thirty minutes before it wore off to were I could move without help although I was still pretty clumsy. Jacob's high set in faster, wasn't as intense, and wasn't as long as my 'trip,' for lack of a better word.
Finally, the last time I ate the seeds, it was in a small quantity and I just was really relaxed and I fell asleep. This was also the first time I didn't eat the seeds.
All in all, poppy seeds are pretty good to use for something low key and if I have a lot of time on your hands. My biggest tip is to NOT swallow the seeds because they burn when I excrete them. I woudn't really recommend them other than the fact they are cheap but then they are a pretty good downer to use.
