A couple months ago as I'm up in my room reading up on Datura, my mom calls down saying that the cats are acting strange. It seemed that after a night outside they had come in acting weirder than normal. So I go over to look at them and right away i can tell something is wrong. One of them makes to walk over to me and promptly falls over, looking confused as to how she got onto the floor. The other one turned and ran into a wall. Having literally just read about it I was sure it was Datura.

The next 48 hours were somewhat of a hassle regarding the cats. They kept falling down the stairs, meowing at all times, and following things I couldnt see. I dont really think that Datura is that poisonous to cats because they can eat so much of it (ten leaves or more) and still survive. Thats the equlivilent of a human eating 100-200 leaves. But keep your cats away from it anyway because you dont want to have to deal with two days of tripping cats.
