A Glimpse of My Non-Linear Life

DOSE:
1.5 g oral Mushrooms - P. cubensis (dried)
BODY WEIGHT: 105 lb
I am a 5’ tall, 105-pound woman who took 1.5 grams of albino A+ psilocybin mushrooms with my boyfriend, who took 9 grams because of his insensitivity to psilocybin due to an SSRI medication. This was my third experience with mushrooms and I have found over time that I am extremely sensitive to psilocybin, resulting in full-blown visual hallucinations in a constant span of about 4 hours each time.

This time around, I experienced the intervention of a being/organism that I can only describe as a “mushroom entity.” It appeared on the tile ground of my boyfriend’s house after I had experienced intense feelings of vertigo and claustrophobia, as I was attempting to escape the negative visual hallucinations that I was associating with his house. As I was walking outside, I looked down at the tile floor and saw the single most beautiful pattern that I have ever seen in my life. It was what I had assumed to be an alien flower, which thrived off of the connotations of words and attention itself.

I immediately sat on the floor and began to stare at it intently. My boyfriend had experienced this entity before and told me to ask it questions—to pay attention to it because it needed the reassurance that I would not “rape” it of its purity and beauty. I began to cry and a watery liquid began to come out of my nose. My boyfriend began to spit out a white, mucus-like substance, which he has only produced when confronted with the presence of the mushroom entity a couple of times before this experience. Although he could not see it, he was able to feel its overwhelmingly powerful presence. It began to communicate with me as I asked it questions; I could read its desires based on the way that the patterns on the floor—thin as powdered carbon, delicate as a shadow—flowed, glowed, and breathed.

Speaking to the alien flower/mushroom entity, I discovered that it loved sex and that it loved my boyfriend and me having great sex all the time. The next morning, my boyfriend and I realized that we had seen visual hallucinations of the entity’s interpretation of sex based on our respective reproductive organs (I saw flowers, which were heaving slowly and sensuously, becoming more and more engorged; whereas he saw robust flowers shooting glowing strings out, which formed more tiny flowers). It showed me our auras or, more appropriately, the colors of our souls. Then it told me that my boyfriend and I had to continue loving each other so that we can combine the goodness of our souls into a child. I was unable to believe this and began to scoff at the creature, which took my incredulity with absolute cynicism towards the inevitability of the future events. I admitted what the flower design on the floor was telling me to my boyfriend, who suddenly became rather intrigued by the idea. We discussed it, which made the entity very happy because it liked to be discussed. Then, we had the revelation that the entity had communicated the very same sentiment to my boyfriend just weeks before my experience with it.

We spent another hour and a half asking the entity questions and we came to realize that I was an avatar of the mushroom entity whose body was necessary in order for it to feel a sense of fulfillment in the human world. That it was powerful beyond human comprehension and that it had been waiting for me to eat psilocybin in order for it to reconnect with me. It was the part of me that understood non-linear time and was willing to give me a glimpse of “human future” so that I remain on a path that was good for all of humanity. Most of all, the mushroom entity loved hedonism and anti-State sentiments in favor of a unified human force—free of class, race, and gender struggles and facilitated by the psilocybin entity’s intervention. Ultimately, our child would be able to access the intervention of the psilocybin entity at any point in time (without the use of psilocybin mushrooms) in order to use his linguistic “powers” to improve the world and humanity.

I am not sure how much of this I believe, but cannot deny the strangeness of the fact that my boyfriend had been in the presence of the entity just weeks before and it had shared the same sentiments with him. Further, as we were talking to each other, he was able to predict what the entity was saying to me in the very moment. I still understand my own autonomy as a human being, but cannot deny that I was (and still am) overwhelmed by the beauty of the creature and its plans for my future. However, I have decided to treat it as a hypothetical happy ending whose ends will be met once I am equipped with the means.
